Debates That Did Not Happen. What is Known About the Conflict Between Journalist Portnikov and Blogger Lyubarsky.

Ukrainian writer Vitaliy Portnikov and American political technologist Sergey Lyubarsky recently began a discussion over the Internet. This is reported by social media analysts and the general producer of the YouTube channel ProUA Sergey Haidai.
Lyubarsky suggested to Portnikov to hold a debate on the role of US President Biden in helping Ukraine against Russian aggression. He even stated that he was willing to pay Portnikov for participating in the debates if he would not agree to do it for free.
In response, Portnikov outlined his conditions for the debates: Lyubarsky must come to Kharkiv, and the debates must be held in the central square of the city. Portnikov also offered to finance Lyubarsky's transfer and his stay in Kharkiv. Even in case of danger, for example, from a missile or a militant.
In his response to Portnikov, Lyubarsky said that he accepts the invitation to the debates and is ready to participate at Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kharkiv no later than 45 days from the date of recording this video. However, there is no Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kharkiv.
Moreover, Lyubarsky pointed out the need to adhere to certain rules during the debates, such as not interrupting each other, limited Time for expressing opinions, prohibition of personal attacks, and having an independent moderator. He also noted that Sergey Haidai would represent his position during the debates.
However, the next day, Haidai published a new post, announcing that the debates would not take place, as Portnikov refused them and accused him of fraud.
Journalist Portnikov is currently not commenting on the cancellation of the debates.
