EU to conduct Live Military Exercise in Germany.


EU Live Military Exercise (LIVEX) begins in Germany
From November 25 to December 10, military exercises EU Live Military Exercise (LIVEX) will take place in Germany. These exercises are part of broader MILEX24 exercises, which include command-staff training. This decision was made to achieve the full operational capability of the European Union's Rapid Deployable Capability (EU RDC), one of the key achievements of the EU Strategic Compass. The exercises aim to test operational interoperability in planning and conducting a joint operation at all levels.
The LIVEX exercises will be conducted under the command of the Eurocorps and the command of the German ground forces. They are based on the 'European Challenge - 2024' exercises conducted by Germany. As part of the exercises, the deployment of the 25th package of EU Battlegroup forces will be carried out according to a predetermined scenario.
15 EU member states and over 1700 servicemen will participate in the EU LIVEX exercises. The training and preparation of Ukrainian military personnel are part of the security agreements that Ukraine has signed with its partners in recent months. In particular, pilots and technicians who will fly and maintain F-16 fighters are being trained in several European countries and in the USA.
