Today, August 6, Russian public pages reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine allegedly infiltrated the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
At present, battles are ongoing at the border, reported the Russian Telegram channel Astra, citing propaganda media.
Fights are continuing on several sections of the state border. Serious artillery preparation and increased pressure by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the directions of Nikolaevo-Daryino-Daryino and Sudzha-Gogolevka. - propagandists said.
Acting Governor of the Kursk region Alexei Smirnov also reported that an alleged Ukrainian drone attacked a car at the Glushkovo station, resulting in two people getting injured. He also warned about the missile danger in the Sudzhansky and Glushkovsky districts.
In addition, at night, Sudzha was attacked by drones. It was reported about five injured and damage to several residential buildings. Smirnov noted that 26 drones were shot down over the Kursk region.
Earlier it was reported that on the night of August 6, loud explosions were heard in several cities of the Kursk region. Local authorities report the drone attack and the work of air defense forces. Explosions were heard in Sudzha, Korenyevo, Lgovsky, Belovsky, Kurchatovsky, and Oktyabrsky districts. At first, authorities warned about the missile danger, and then about the drone attack.
As reported, on the night of July 30, the Security Service of Ukraine attacked a Russian oil depot in the Kursk region. A fire broke out at the impact site.
