Italy will continue to support Ukraine's defense capabilities.

Italy has continued military support for Ukraine
The Italian cabinet, led by Giorgia Meloni, has approved a decree that provides for further military support to Ukraine. The document allows for the transfer of military equipment, materials, and supplies to Ukrainian state structures.
'The cabinet of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni approved a legislative decree on Monday that contains urgent provisions for the continuation of the authorization to transfer military vehicles, materials, and equipment to Ukrainian government agencies,' the message states.
It is worth noting that support for Ukraine with military assistance began during Mario Draghi's government. After the formation of the new government in 2022, Giorgia Meloni and her team continued this course, providing support for another two years - 2023 and 2024.
The parliament's authorization to send weapons to Ukraine remains valid until the end of 2024. Parliamentary approval is a necessary condition for the implementation of government decisions regarding military assistance.
Next July, Italy will hold a conference on the reconstruction of Ukraine.
