The head of foreign intelligence named four regions that Russia intends to occupy.

Plans of the Russian invaders
According to the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleg Ivashchenko, the Kremlin aims to establish a 5-10 km buffer zone in the territories of Kharkiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions. In addition, the Russian Federation has plans to capture the Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions.
Desire and Reality
Oleg Ivashchenko emphasizes that Russia lacks the resources for the full occupation of all the mentioned regions. The Kremlin's strategy is to establish control over the countries of the former Soviet Union. Ukrainian troops do not abandon their positions on the border, but rather control some territories in Russia, particularly in Kursk and Belgorod regions.
Situation on the Front
Reports that Ukrainian defenders have left the border areas have proven to be false. Russians continue shelling and conducting aerial and missile strikes. Ukrainian troops steadfastly hold back the pressure of the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on them in combat.
In the last 24 hours, militants have struck Ukraine with missiles and aviation, conducting over 180 attacks. The invaders have also used missiles and bombs, employing kamikaze drones to target positions of Ukrainian troops and peaceful settlements.
It should be noted that the conflict in Ukraine has been ongoing for 1188 days, and Ukraine continues to defend its independence from Russian aggression.
