Massive Losses: Forbes Named the Place of the Real Meat Grinder on the Front.

In the Kursk region, the Russian army is suffering serious losses, reports Forbes analyst David Ax. According to him, Russian troops have massively perished during a week-long offensive in the Kursk region and have achieved no successes.

Although the Russian army continues its offensive on Ukrainian positions, it faces significant failures. The analyst suggests that the Russian commanders are unable to obtain reliable intelligence about the location of Ukrainian troops.

'All of this indicates that the Russian attacks are predictable and unsystematic. This will lead to huge losses,'

- he emphasized.

Military researchers report that the Russian side suffered losses of 88 vehicles on three main roads near the village of Zeleny Shilakh and all around it, in an area without any control on the northwestern flank. Of those, 11 vehicles were disabled on November 13.

It turns out that Ukrainian troops are capable of stealthily approaching the Russians, who operate on limited intelligence. For example, several BMP-82 machines of the Russian Marine Brigade 810th Regiment were destroyed on November 7 in an encirclement area near Pogrebki.

Brigade commanders claimed to fully control the road through Pogrebki and after that, the Russian General Staff ordered them to storm. However, this information turned out to be false, as there were Ukrainian mines on the road that the BMPs were unable to clear before the offensive.

According to Ax, the issue of misinformation from the Russian command in the Kursk region is characteristic of this brigade and, possibly, of adjacent units as well.

'By disseminating false information and giving unsuccessful orders downward, Russian commanders in Kursk are preparing their troops for bloody and tactical failures. This does not mean that the Russians are losing in Kursk. They will likely suffer massive losses, regardless of the final outcome of the battle,'

- he added.
