The Senate expects the completion of the new sanctions bill within the next few weeks. Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumenthal's draft law considers the possibility of the US President lifting sanctions if a peace agreement is reached.In the event that the sanctions law is adopted, billions of dollars may not reach the occupiers, said Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. Donald Trump also expressed serious consideration of imposing strong sanctions against Russia, stating that Moscow's aggressive actions require a response.
