The Ukrainian team captain has repeated his personal record in the Biathlon World Cup.


Ukrainian biathlete Dmytro Pidruchny took 4th place in the sprint of the Biathlon World Cup 2024/25 in Oberhof, Germany. This was reported by 'Suspilne'.
The captain of the Ukrainian team achieved the best result of his career in the sprint competition of the World Cup, finishing in fourth place. He hit all targets at two shooting ranges, thereby repeating his personal record.
French athletes took all podium places in this race. Canten Fillion-Maillet came first, with Fabien Claude and Emilien Jacquelin taking second and third places respectively.
The Ukrainian biathletes Vitalii Mandzyn, Taras Lesiuk, and Anton Dudchenko also participated in the sprint but finished in 17th, 34th, and 78th places.

We remind you that on December 28, the traditional Christmas race in biathlon took place in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The Ukrainian team, represented by Yuliia Dzhyma and Dmytro Pidruchny, finished in third place. Norway won, and France was second.
