Macron: Ukraine must engage in realistic negotiations on territorial issues.

Macron called for sensible discussions regarding Ukraine
French President Emmanuel Macron urged for 'realistic discussions' on Ukraine's territorial issues during a meeting with French ambassadors. He noted that it is the Ukrainians who must seek a solution to the conflict caused by the Russian invasion. Macron also emphasized the role of the US and Europe in resolving the situation. He stated that the United States should facilitate Russia's involvement in the negotiation process, while European countries should focus on ensuring Ukraine's security. Macron also warned about the potential fatigue of the West regarding the conflict and the undermining of trust in compromises. Slovak President Peter Pellegrini also spoke about the necessity of negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv and the possibility of territorial concessions from Ukraine. President Zelensky plans to have the first negotiations to end the war with Donald Trump, and after that with Vladimir Putin.
The Ukrainian leader intends to engage in direct dialogue with Trump
The Ukrainian leader has already changed his approach to negotiations regarding the end of the war and stated his intention to engage in direct dialogue with Trump without intermediaries. Macron pointed out the conditions for possible NATO involvement in the conflict, while Trump expressed a desire to meet with Putin to resolve the situation in Ukraine.
