PFU shows the average pension size in Ukraine: how much less than the subsistence minimum.

According to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the average pension in Ukraine is 5,789 hryvnias.
Overall, there are 10.3 million pensioners in the country. Of these, 2.8 million people combine work with receiving a pension.
The distribution of pension payments in Ukraine looks as follows: the average pension is 5,789.05 UAH, while pensioners who continue to work receive an average of 6,302.76 UAH.
According to the Ministry of Social Policy, the real subsistence minimum in October 2024 is about 9,000 hryvnias, which is three times higher than the officially established indicator.
The Pension Fund explained the re-registration of subsidies for some individuals.
