Ukrainians have been informed about a new initiative to identify violators and draft evaders. As part of this initiative, police accounts have begun to be added to homeowners' associations (HOAs) so that law enforcement can monitor and respond to legal violations, particularly regarding mobilization legislation. A pilot project has already been launched in some HOAs in the Kyiv region. One of the HOA heads expressed hope that this will help maintain public order in the building. The police officer will also respond to reports of violations of mobilization legislation. Information about this initiative has provoked a variety of reactions on social media. Lawyer Roman Simutin noted that while the initiative is aimed at enhancing security, it may also have other consequences and be used for different purposes.
