Police suspects Ukrainian in three arsons against the property of the British Prime Minister.


A 21-year-old Ukrainian was arrested in London, suspected of setting fire to the property of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Police accuse Roman Lavrynovych of three arson incidents that occurred between May 8 and 12 in London.
The incidents took place in various areas of the city, where arsons of a car, the entrance to a house previously lived in by Starmer, and the entrance to a house currently rented by a relative of the Prime Minister were recorded. Police have brought charges against Lavrynovych that could have serious consequences.
Starmer noted that such attacks pose a threat to democracy and the values of society. The case of the Ukrainian will be heard in a London court on May 16. It is worth noting that earlier, the London counter-terrorism unit investigated a nighttime fire at the Prime Minister's home.
