Supporters of South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, who is accused of attempting to seize power by force, stormed the court that decided to keep him in custody.
It is reported that on Sunday, the court in South Korea extended President Yoon Suk-yeol's detention for another 20 days, provoking massive protests from his supporters. Furious demonstrators broke into the courthouse, smashed windows, and penetrated inside, causing chaos.
Specifically, the president's supporters broke through police cordons, invaded the courthouse, smashed furniture, and used fire extinguishers against law enforcement officers who tried to stop the unrest.
It is known that 40 people have been detained.

Let us recall that in December, parliament removed Yoon Suk-yeol from power after his attempts to introduce martial law in the country to fight political opponents.
