Russia has attacked gas infrastructure: emergency power outages have begun in Ukraine.

On the night of February 11, Russian forces launched a mass air assault on Ukraine, resulting in damage to critical energy infrastructure.
Gas infrastructure in the Poltava region was particularly affected, where nine settlements in the Mirhorod district were left without gas supply.
Energy Minister German Galushchenko reported that urgent measures are being taken: 'In order to minimize potential consequences for the energy system, the transmission system operator will urgently implement emergency electricity restrictions.'
The National Energy Company 'Ukrenergo' has introduced emergency electricity outages across the country. According to the company, the restrictions will remain in effect until the air alert is over and the situation in the energy system stabilizes.
The production facilities of Naftogaz in the Poltava region were also affected. The company reported that no one was injured and all necessary measures are being taken to stabilize gas supply in the region.
Earlier, Russia struck Izium with a missile.
