Shakhtar sensationally lost to Polissya in the last Premier League match.
Sensational defeat of Shakhtar by Polissya
In the 17th round of UPL season 2024/25, Shakhtar suffered a defeat against Polissya with a score of 1:0. The goal was scored in the 90+1 minute by Bohdan Mykhailychenko, who played against his former club.
This is already the second victory of Polissya over Shakhtar in this UPL season. In the second round, the Donetsk club also lost to Zhytomyr with a score of 0:1.
After this defeat, Shakhtar occupies third place in the Ukrainian championship, lagging behind Dynamo and Oleksandriya. Polissya remains in fifth position in the standings.
Shakhtar's next match will be against Lviv, while Polissya will play against Inhulets in the next round of UPL.
Before the resumption of UPL, Shakhtar still has matches in the Champions League against Brest and Borussia.
In addition, Dynamo lost to Real Sociedad in the Europa League match.
