How long will the 'United News' telethon last? Response from the Ministry of Culture.

Ukraine's Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications, Mykola Tochytskyi, stated that the national telethon "United News" will continue broadcasting as long as the war with Russia persists. He said this in an interview with the "Voice of America".
According to Tochytskyi, the telethon is needed to "create unified approaches that will dismantle Russia's propaganda."
I have said and continue to say that as long as there is war, we need the United Marathon. It is needed to ensure that we create unified approaches that will dismantle the propaganda created by the Russian Federation regarding us,” he said.
The Minister believes that the telethon can serve as a platform where hostile narratives about Ukraine, embedded in various periods of the state's development, can be removed.
The head of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications also commented on censorship and the reaction of Western allies to it.
If, in the same United News, there is a conversation, for instance, with a particular guest, I don't see or remember anyone specifically inviting or not inviting a certain speaker. In my work, from the beginning, I communicate with both the political majority and minority. But I have said and will continue to say, as long as the war goes on, United News will be. But we must, as in everything, create a higher quality product to make it interesting,” said Tochytskyi.
We recall that at the start of the war, the United Telethon provided truthful and prompt information, but today Ukrainians wish to receive somewhat different information. For this reason, the telethon is awaiting transformation, said Rostyslav Karandieiev, the acting Minister of Culture and Information Policy, in an interview with "Glavkom". Karandieiev emphasized that transformations will occur but refused to disclose details until specific results are achieved.
