Tragedy in Bolivia: bus accident claimed the lives of over 30 people
A road traffic accident occurred in Bolivia, resulting in the deaths of over 30 individuals. A bus fell from a height of nearly 800 meters because the driver lost control. Additionally, 14 people, including 4 children, were injured. The incident took place between the cities of Potosí and Oruro. According to official sources, the tragedy may have occurred due to speeding.
This is far from the first such case in Bolivia this year. In January, 19 people died in a bus accident with the Pan-American fleet, and 9 more were injured. At that Time, the vehicle overturned and fell off the road during a maneuver in the city of Potos.
Among the deceased in the current accident are 14 women, 3 men, 1 girl, and 1 boy. Rescue operations to retrieve the victims are ongoing at the scene. It is noted that such buses usually can accommodate up to 50 passengers.
Road accident in Moldova
On February 15 at 5 AM in Moldova, another accident occurred. A Kyiv-Chișinău bus collided with an unknown obstacle on route R-14 in the Florești district near the village of Chiripkeu. As a result of this incident, 16 people were injured. The Moldovan police provided information about the accident.
