Fire at 'Barabashovo' market in Kharkiv due to 'Shahed' strike
On May 6, a fire broke out at the largest market in Kharkiv - 'Barabashovo' - as a result of a Russian 'Shahed' strike. This was reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to 'Suspilne Kharkiv'.

In 2022, the Russian Federation attempted to destroy this market by shelling it with 'Grads'. This incident resulted in the market turning into a wasteland.
In February 2025, the market was attacked by a 'Geran-2' drone.
Last night, Kharkiv experienced 20 'Shahed' strikes, with eight locations attacked in four districts of the city.
In total, two casualties have been reported from these attacks.
Events at the 'Barabashovo' market continue to shock and disturb the city's residents. More attention needs to be paid to preventing such incidents and protecting the civilian population from aggression.
