The Armed Forces of Ukraine have established a drone company for evacuation of the wounded.


The First Separate Medical Battalion has created a unit of unmanned systems for the evacuation of wounded soldiers. This new unit specializes in unmanned aerial evacuation of the wounded using ground platforms. This was reported by the Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, via
Glavkom.
Key Activities of the Battalion
The First Separate Medical Battalion is a pilot project for the Armed Forces. It combines several important areas, including unmanned evacuation of the wounded, emergency medical aid, and training fighters at the front line. The unit specializes in medical evacuation using ground unmanned systems, providing emergency assistance, and training in combat zones.
- Medical evacuation using ground unmanned systems;
- Provision of emergency assistance;
- Training fighters directly at the forefront;
- The Battalion provides evacuation and assistance in a designated section of the front, with the main goal being to save as many lives as possible of infantrymen in the Battalion's area of responsibility.
The selected unit undergoes training and is actively preparing for possible combat operations.
UAV Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The Ukrainian Armed Forces previously established a grouping of UAV Forces to improve management and adapt to modern military requirements. Most units of the grouping are already successfully performing their tasks under the command of Robert 'Madyar' Brovda.
The First Separate Medical Battalion expands the capabilities of the Ukrainian army by providing more effective medical assistance to injured servicemen. The establishment of the unmanned system unit is an important step in enhancing the level of safety and speed of assistance on the battlefield. It demonstrates the readiness of the Ukrainian army for innovation and the use of modern technologies to accomplish its tasks.
