The Armed Forces of Ukraine have changed the military training program for 'limited fitness'.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have changed the basic general military training program (BGMT) to reduce the burden on certain categories of servicemen. These changes apply to servicemen serving in support units, security units, territorial recruitment and social support centers, higher military educational institutions, training centers, hospitals, and also in logistics, communications, and security units.
Starting from May 1, the specified categories of servicemen will undergo BGMT under a new program, which involves reducing the training period to one month instead of 45 days, lowering the level of physical loads, and forming separate training units - companies or platoons.
These changes concern both those servicemen who have just been drafted and those who have previously undergone training at military training departments or for various reasons are undergoing BGMT again. It specifically refers to the former category of 'limited fitness', which according to changes in legislation must serve exclusively in rear units - as per the decision of the military medical commission.
These changes will help reduce the burden on the specified categories of servicemen, making their service more effective and providing optimal conditions for training and preparation.
