Ukrainians are ready to give up territories 'de facto' - Kellogg.

U.S. Special Envoy Keith Kellogg reported that Ukraine is ready to de facto give up the territories occupied by Russian troops to achieve peace. He stated this in an interview on Fox News. According to him, this proposal is one of the 22 conditions for a peaceful settlement that the U.S. and Ukraine agreed upon during negotiations in London.
Kellogg noted that the Ukrainian side is ready for compromise, considering the reality of occupation, but it is not ready to legally secure the loss of territories. According to him, Ukrainians agreed to the de facto refusal because the Russians have effectively occupied these lands.
One of the key elements of the peace plan is the establishment of a 30-day ceasefire to stop the bloodshed. The Ukrainian side is ready for such a regime while remaining in their positions. According to Kellogg, not all points of the agreement have been accepted by the Ukrainian side, but such nuances are a normal part of the negotiation process.
The Special Envoy also expressed confidence that Russia will not be able to win the war.
Analysis:
According to Keith Kellogg, cooperation between the U.S. and Ukraine regarding the peaceful settlement of the conflict with Russia continues. Ukraine is ready for compromise and willing to accept a de facto refusal of its occupied territories. This move will help strengthen stability in the east of the country and stop the bloodshed. Despite the fact that not all points of the agreement have been unequivocally accepted, negotiations continue. According to Kellogg, this is a normal part of the diplomatic process.
