Ukrzaliznytsia has doubled the prices of tea and drinks on trains.

Ukrzaliznytsia has decided to raise prices for tea and other goods on long-distance trains in order to cover operational costs. The number of passengers on trains has significantly decreased due to the pandemic, so the railway is looking for ways to increase profitability.
'In particular, the price of a glass of classic tea will rise from 10 UAH to 20 UAH, which, according to market price analysis, will still remain significantly below the average market value. This increase will allow the railway to at least cover operational costs associated with the sale of this product.'
New innovations on board trains
Passengers on Ukrzaliznytsia trains will now have the opportunity to choose from various types of tea, coffee, and other drinks, as well as taste new dishes added to the train menu. These changes are aimed at improving service and meeting passenger needs.
Summary: Ukrzaliznytsia is raising prices on goods in long-distance trains, including tea, to compensate for operational costs. Additionally, new drinks and dishes have been introduced on board trains, expanding choices for passengers.
