Volcano Activity in Sicily
It is worth recalling that in Italy, on the largest Italian island in the Mediterranean, Sicily, the highest active volcano in Europe, Etna, has shown signs of awakening. Authorities reported that there is currently no danger to residents. The molten material has remained distantly in the uninhabited valley of Valle-del-Leone, and for safety reasons, the aviation alert level has been raised to red.
In summary: The eruption of the Levotobi Laki-laki volcano on Flores Island in Indonesia has occurred, leading to the rise of a column of volcanic ash to a height of 16 km. The danger level has been raised, and the local population is urged to adhere to all established safety measures. Meanwhile, the activity of the Etna volcano in Sicily is not considered a threat to the island's residents.
