The Spanish authorities have decided to support the initiative to ban domestic flights. Such measures are supposed to help save the environment.

As an alternative to airplanes, the Spanish authorities propose high-speed trains. A similar idea has already been implemented in France.
Spain is preparing for an increase in the influx of tourists, who will need more trains.
