In Omsk, two schoolchildren burned a Mi-8 helicopter.


In the city of Omsk, Russia, two 16-year-old schoolchildren set fire to a multipurpose helicopter at a local airbase. They were promised to receive 20 thousand dollars for this crime. This was reported by a Russian Telegram channel.
According to the information, on the evening of September 21, the schoolchildren infiltrated the airbase and threw a bottle with a flammable substance at the Mi-8 helicopter, after which they fled the scene.
However, the boys were soon detained. The teenagers admitted that they received an assignment to set fire to the helicopter through Telegram and were promised a large sum of money for this work, but they never received the funds.
Reminding of a similar case
Also, on the night of September 11, in the city of Noyabrsk, Russia, two schoolchildren aged 13 and 14 set fire to a multipurpose Mi-8 helicopter. They were promised to receive 5 million rubles (2.24 million hryvnias) for this.
It is noted that the schoolchildren infiltrated the helipad at Noyabrsk airport through a hole in the fence. After that, they poured the helicopter with a flammable liquid and, on the second attempt, set it on fire with cigarettes. One of the boys received serious facial burns due to the explosion of the liquid.
