Enemy losses as of May 1, 2025 – General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.


The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that as of the morning of Thursday, May 1, 2025, Russia has suffered losses in the Ukrainian war.

As of May 1, Russia has lost:
- about 953190 (+1230) personnel,
- 10732 (+3) tanks,
- 22364 (+11) armored combat vehicles,
- 27136 (+45) artillery systems,
- 1375 (+1) MLRS,
- 1148 (+2) air defense systems,
- 370 (+0) aircraft,
- 335 (+0) helicopters,
- 34401 (+112) operational-tactical UAVs,
- 3196 (+0) cruise missiles,
- 28 (+0) ships / boats,
- 1 (+0) submarine,
- 46750 (+139) vehicles and fuel tankers,
- 3869 (+0) specialized equipment.
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of May 1
- There are no enemy ships in the Black Sea.
- There are also no enemy ships in the Azov Sea.
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are three enemy ships, one of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles and can launch up to eight missiles.
In the last 24 hours, the Russian Federation carried out the following movements:
- two vessels headed for the Black Sea, one of which continued to move towards the Bosporus strait;
- six vessels headed for the Azov Sea, two of which continued to move from the Bosporus strait.
It is important to note that the full-scale war in Ukraine is now in its 1163rd day.
As of May 1, 2025, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated information on the losses of Russian occupiers. Recently, Russia has suffered significant losses in the war against Ukraine. The largest losses were among personnel, tanks, combat vehicles, and artillery systems. At the same Time, maritime activity of the enemies is minimal - Russian ships are absent in the Black and Azov Seas, but three ships are present in the Mediterranean Sea, one of which poses a threat of launching cruise missiles. Movements of Russian vessels were also observed, particularly through the Kerch Strait to the Black and Azov Seas. The Ukrainian war continues, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are carrying on their military operation against the occupiers.
