According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of September 16, 2024, Russian occupiers have suffered significant losses.

At the moment, Russia has lost:
- about 634860 (+1060) personnel,
- 8683 (+3) tanks,
- 17071 (+8) armored combat vehicles,
- 18123 (+14) artillery systems,
- 1187 (+1) MLRS,
- 947 (+0) air defense systems,
- 369 (+0) aircraft,
- 328 (+0) helicopters,
- 15263 (+29) operational-tactical UAVs,
- 2592 (+0) cruise missiles,
- 28 (+0) ships / boats,
- 1 (+0) submarine,
- 24712 (+28) vehicles and fuel tanks,
- 3090 (+6) special equipment.
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of September 16:
- In the Black Sea, there is 1 enemy ship, which is a carrier of "Kalibr" cruise missiles and can launch up to 4 missiles.
- There are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are 5 enemy ships, 4 of which are carriers of "Kalibr" cruise missiles and can launch a total of up to 32 missiles.
In the last 24 hours, the following passed through the Kerch Strait:
- 12 ships to the Black Sea, 7 of which continued towards the Bosphorus;
- 11 ships to the Sea of Azov, 5 of which came from the Bosphorus.
Currently, it is the 935th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
