The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the losses of the Russian occupiers as of the morning of Tuesday, August 27, 2024.
Russia's losses in the war as of August 27, 2024
Russia in the war with Ukraine as of August 27 lost:
- personnel ‒ about 610100 (+1280) people,
- tanks ‒ 8563 (+12) units,
- armored combat vehicles ‒ 16667 (+19) units,
- artillery systems ‒ 17495 (+52) units,
- MLRS ‒ 1173 (+1) units,
- air defense systems ‒ 937 (+0) units,
- aircraft ‒ 367 (+0) units,
- helicopters ‒ 328 (+0) units,
- UAVs of operational-tactical level ‒ 14254 (+120),
- cruise missiles ‒ 2547 (+103),
- ships/boats ‒ 28 (+0) units,
- submarines ‒ 1 (+0) unit,
- automotive equipment and fuel tanks ‒ 23613 (+58) units,
- special equipment ‒ 2944 (+3).
Occupant fleet activity as of August 27:
- In the Black Sea, one enemy ship, a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles;
- no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
- in the Mediterranean Sea, three enemy ships, no carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles.
In the interests of the Russian Federation, passage through the Kerch Strait was made during the day:
- to the Black Sea ‒ nine ships, four of which continued to move towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov ‒ six ships, one of which was moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
It is currently the 916th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
