WP learned about the Armed Forces of Ukraine's reaction to 'peace on Putin's terms'.

Ukrainian military express concern about the pressure to achieve a quick ceasefire with Russia following the meeting of the presidents of Ukraine and the USA. Fighters strongly protest the actions of the aggressor, which lead to the complete degradation of Ukraine.
Vladislav, officer of the 241st brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: 'The dispute between Zelensky and Trump became a wonderful excuse for Washington to implement its strategy, where Trump needs a quick peace.'
The officer acknowledges the difficult situation at the front, but emphasizes that Russia's demands mean capitulation and disdain for Ukraine.
Artem, commander of a HIMARS system machine, supports President Zelensky, but the military in his unit have a negative attitude towards a ceasefire after losing friends. He does not trust Putin and does not understand Trump's strategy, believing that Ukraine should continue to fight.
Zelensky is trying to restore relations with the White House and offers a partial ceasefire as the first step towards peace negotiations. However, any moves towards a ceasefire will meet resistance from the military, who risk their lives on the front line and have their own vision of a just peace for Ukraine.
The Trump administration has halted support for F-16s, but Mirage 2000s may help save the situation.
