Failure in Ukrzaliznytsia: Passengers Offered Pleasant Bonuses.

Ukrzaliznytsia Will Justify Itself to Passengers Due to Technical Failure
The company's press service reported that 'Ukrzaliznytsia' is forced to increase the number of traditional ticket offices due to a large-scale hacker attack that led to the suspension of the online ticket sales system. Thus, the company apologizes to passengers for the inconvenience and offers some compensations. Representatives of 'Ukrzaliznytsia' noted that some passengers will receive free services or gifts.
We understand the inconvenience caused by the lack of online ticket sales to our passengers, so we want to partially compensate for it, - the company representatives stated.
In addition, passengers will be able to take advantage of the following services: separate paid waiting rooms for passengers with paper tickets purchased during the hacker attack; free tea on board the train for passengers with paper tickets purchased during that period; Ukrainians are advised to keep their paper tickets.
After the system is restored, we will launch additional 'compliments' from the railway and partners as an apology for the situation, - it was emphasized in the company.
Moreover, it was reported that by noon, 3 additional ticket offices were opened in Kyiv, 2 in Vinnytsia, and 1 in Lviv, and they operate without breaks and lunch hours. IT specialists together with cybersecurity experts continue to work on system recovery.
Previously, rights of ticket holders were already reported.
