Zelensky announced personnel changes in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine appointed Mykhailo Drapatiy as the head of the operational-strategic group of troops 'Khortytsia'
Major General Mykhailo Drapatiy has received a new position in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced his appointment as the head of the operational-strategic group of troops 'Khortytsia'. Zelensky himself reported this in his address on January 26.
The President emphasized that Mykhailo Drapatiy will continue to serve as the commander of the Ground Forces, which are the largest component of the Armed Forces. This appointment will ensure the retention of combat experience and accordingly prepare brigades.
Zelensky also noted that the formation and training of brigades must meet the needs at the front.
It should be noted that Mykhailo Drapatiy was appointed as the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on November 29. He successfully organized the defense in the Kharkiv direction and stopped the advance of Russian forces.
Drapatiy also led the operational group of troops 'South', which halted the advance of the occupiers in Kryvyi Rih, and participated in the liberation of the right bank of Kherson region. Later, he took command of the operational-tactical group of troops 'Kharkiv', where he also successfully opposed Russian troops.
After this, Drapatiy became the deputy chief of the General Staff for military training.
