USA prepares to provide Ukraine with cruise bombs for new F-16 fighters
According to Politico, the United States of America plans to provide Ukraine with medium-range cruise bombs for its new fleet of F-16 fighters. This decision is part of a military aid package.
The $375 million aid package will be officially announced on Monday. In particular, the package includes not only cruise bombs but also artillery shells, missiles, and air defense missiles.
In addition, the new weapon will provide Ukrainian pilots with a powerful new weapon in the fight against Russian troops
Although the Joint Standoff Weapon cruise bombs cannot fly the long distances that Kyiv requested, they will still be a significant weapon for Ukrainian forces against Russian troops in the east of the country.
Furthermore, it should be noted that the Pentagon has promised to deliver unused aid to Ukraine.
