At the summit, G7 leaders will confirm their decisive support for Ukraine - expert.

According to the results of the summit in Canada, the leaders of the Group of Seven will support Ukraine. This was reported by John Kirton, head of the G7 research group at the University of Toronto, in an interview with Ukrinform.
'In the worst-case scenario, if Donald Trump is not in a good mood, we will at least hear confirmation of previously announced serious commitments from the G7 finance ministers in Banff a few weeks ago, as well as from the foreign ministers in Charlevoix and at the Munich Security Conference,' noted Kirton.
The expert believes this reflects a consensus at the highest level, as all communiqués were agreed with U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessen and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
According to Kirton, regardless of President Trump's policy, the United States must support its G7 allies by strengthening support for Ukraine and pressing Russia.
During the G7 summit, a positive signal for Ukraine is expected, indicating support from allies and the intention to maintain pressure on Russia.
Ukraine can hope for support and positive decisions from G7 leaders, confirming the strengthening of support for the country in the context of its relations with Russia.
